California Attorney General Rob Bonta announced a settlement with DoorDash on Wednesday, ending a years-long saga between the state’s Department of Justice and the food delivery platform.

The settlement resolves the allegations against DoorDash claiming it violated the California Consumer Privacy Act and the California Online Privacy Protection Act. A state DOJ investigation found that the company sold its California customers’ personal information without providing proper notice or an opportunity to opt out of the sale, the AG’s office said.
