A San Francisco attorney already facing a possible six-month license suspension for defrauding an elderly client has been hit with new professional misconduct charges for allegedly depleting the trust of a mentally ill man.

Attorneys for the state bar have accused Drexel Andrew Bradshaw of five counts of wrongdoing tied to his roles as a lawyer for “I.L.” and as the trustee for an account created to benefit him. In a filing with the State Bar Court made public Friday, state bar attorneys said Bradshaw charged unconscionable fees and depleted the trust’s $2.5 million contents between 2015 and 2019.
