Goldberg Segalla added Jeffrey M. Zech to the firm’s retail and hospitality practice group in Orange County. Zech focuses his practice on counseling and defending retail and hospitality companies in commercial matters and civil disputes in state and federal courts throughout California. He has handled a variety of litigation and transactional matters for Fortune 500 companies, national and regional retailers, and corporate clients, including personal injury and general liability. Zech manages all aspects of litigation including pleadings, discovery, law and motion, mediation and appellate work.

Snell & Wilmer announced two California attorneys have been elected to join the firm’s partnership, effective March 1: Kevin M. Brown in San Diego and Marshall J. Hogan in Orange County. Additionally, three California attorneys were promoted to the counsel role, effective Jan. 1: Katharine A. Adams and Jenny Hua in Orange County and Imeabasi Ibok in Los Angeles. Brown’s primary area of practice is employment law, and he routinely handles commercial litigation. Brown represents employers in a full range of actions including wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, sexual assault/negligence, wage and hour class actions, PAGA actions, whistleblower claims, restrictive covenants (non-compete/non-solicitation), trade secrets, and disability accommodation. Hogan is a commercial litigation and business bankruptcy attorney who assists clients with a variety of business disputes and bankruptcy matters. He has represented clients in state and federal courts in matters involving contract claims, business tort claims, trade secret and intellectual property claims.
