A handful of law firm associates have found the kind of success some people only dream of on their social media platforms. But when that kind of viral success arrives, it is not entirely clear what should happen next.

An associate at a midsize civil litigation firm in California has made a name for herself on TikTok, amassing more than 1.6 million followers. In just her third year out of law school, she posts under the pseudonym “Reb Masel” to keep a firm line drawn between her professional and personal life. But her real name is not difficult to find. A quick Google search of “Reb Masel” reveals her name and current firm, which Law.com agreed not to include in this article.
