Oakland City Attorney Barbara Parker will not be running for a fourth term in 2024 after leading the office for more than a decade.
Parker, who was first appointed by Oakland City Council to the post in July 2011 and then won three elections, announced Wednesday that she will be leaving the office in December 2024 at the end of the current four-year term.
