A husband-and-wife legal team is working pro bono to defend a Southern California fitness trainer’s trademark after Monster Energy Co. opposed it before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. But the two aren’t the first lawyers to recently jump into pro bono trademark matters against the energy drink company.
The case comes after a pro bono team at Pryor Cashman stepped in to represent an LGBTQ artist at the trademark board against the company.
