Tyson & Mendes announced the addition of Joseph J. Minioza, who previously served as president of Erickson Arbuthnot. Minioza joins as a partner in the firm’s Northern California office. Minioza brings to Tyson & Mendes over two decades of defending businesses and nonprofits in high-exposure civil suits brought by employees for wrongful termination, discrimination, and wage and hour claims and multimillion-dollar personal injury claims. Prior to his role as president of Erickson Arbuthnot, Minioza served as managing partner for the firm in Concord, California, for 23 years.

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani welcomes Fred B. Lee as a partner in the firm’s Los Angeles office. He joins the environmental/toxic tort and products and general liability practice groups. Lee focuses on defending corporate clients in toxic tort, environmental and products liability litigation. He also has experience representing clients and insurance carriers in construction law and general tort liability. He served as a judicial extern for Judge Elizabeth A. Lippitt in the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles. Additionally, Lee was an extern for the Attorney General, California Department of Justice, in the Civil Law Division.
