Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth welcomes the return of two attorneys who will become shareholders in the firm’s corporate and securities practice in the Newport Beach office. Chris Y. Chen was a partner at Mundell, Odlum & Haws. Pace McCaskill was special counsel at Cooley. Chen focuses his practice in the areas of corporate and securities, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions and commercial contracts. McCaskill represents emerging and established companies in a range of corporate and transactional matters, including venture capital financings, public securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions transactions, joint ventures and other strategic initiatives, Securities Act and Exchange Act reporting, and corporate governance matters.

Greenberg Traurig continues to grow its corporate practice with the addition of Yejee Marilyn Kim as of counsel in the Orange County and Los Angeles offices. Kim is rejoining Greenberg Traurig from a position as senior director, corporate counsel for Edwards Lifesciences. The role involved providing legal advice on Securities and Exchange Commission and New York Stock Exchange compliance matters, in addition to corporate governance matters. Although Kim’s practice at Greenberg Traurig will include corporate governance and securities compliance, it will also focus on wider corporate transactional work, such as public and private securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions and private equity matters.
