A California federal judge chastised attorneys for discovery-related disputes “a third-grader could resolve” between two Am Law 200 firms representing aerospace manufacturers Wisk Aero and Archer Aviation in a trade secrets case.

U.S. District Judge William Orrick III in San Francisco told attorneys from Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan and Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher that their clients in the case “deserve better and your firms stain themselves with what you’ve been doing,” during a virtual case management conference Tuesday.
