Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton said on Monday that it is adding Morrison & Foerster tax partner Maureen Linch and Baker McKenzie intellectual property partner Marcela Robledo to its newest offices in Northern California, which will now be home to seven partners.

Both partners will support mergers and acquisitions and corporate teams, according to the firm. Linch brings particular expertise in the tax aspects of renewable energy investments and restructuring, while Robledo’s practice focuses on tech transactions as well as the IP, privacy and cybersecurity aspects of corporate matters.
