Walgreens Co. was hit with a consumer class action Friday in California Northern District Court in relation to the marketing of its plastic bags. The suit, filed by the Lexington Law Group and attorney Gideon Kracov, contends that Walgreens sells and distributes reusable plastic grocery bags made from plastic film that is not recyclable in California. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 3:22-cv-02639, Bargetto v. Walgreen Co.
