Guess Inc. co-founder Paul Marciano on Monday sued Southern California lawyer Lisa Bloom and her law firm, alleging that the plaintiffs attorney extorted him into settling a sexual harassment claim.
In a complaint filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, Marciano’s lawyers at The Kaufman Law Group and Kinsella Weitzman Iser Kump Holley said Bloom threatened to file a suit accusing the clothier of raping an unnamed woman if he did not settle her claim.
