Albertsons was hit with a consumer class action Tuesday in California Central District Court over the company’s brand of Signature Select club soda. The complaint, filed by Marlin & Saltzman, contends that the outer packaging of a 12-pack of the soda states that the product contains 0 mg of sodium, while the individual cans state 40 mg of sodium. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 2:22-cv-02453, Lewis v. Albertsons Companies, Inc.
