Schneider Wallace Cottrell Konecky has announced the opening of its new office in Los Angeles. The firm’s new office—its second in California and fifth nationwide—will focus on complex litigation involving employment, consumer protection, and antitrust matters. The office will be led by partner Jason H. Kim, who will oversee day-to-day office management and represent Schneider Wallace in the Southern California legal community. Kim has led the firm’s business litigation and competition practice group since 2020, representing classes, municipalities, and several health insurers in a variety of civil matters.

The firm has also recently promoted four lawyers to partnership: Amy Eskin, Ryan Hicks, David Leimbach and Nathan Pillar. Eskin, as the director of the mass tort department, brings more than 30 years of trial experience in personal injury, products liability and complex pharmaceutical and medical device cases to the firm. Hicks works in the Houston office. Leimbach and Pillar’s practices focus on complex litigation including consumer protection class action and employment class action.
