Robins Kaplan on Wednesday removed a business interruption insurance suit against Liberty Mutual, Allianz and Zurich Insurance Group to California Central District Court. The suit was brought by Spertus, Landes & Umhofer and Cohen Ziffer Frenchman & McKenna on behalf of Regal Cinemas, which seeks coverage for nearly $650 million in losses incurred amid the COVID-19 pandemic. DLA Piper represents Allianz and Dentons is counsel to Zurich. The case is 2:22-cv-01248, Crown Intermediate Holdco, Inc. d/b/a Regal Cinemas v. Allianz Global Risks US Insurance Company et al.
