Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe partner Jacob M. Heath has entered an appearance for Facebook in a pending lawsuit. The complaint, filed Feb. 3 in California Northern District Court by Tyler & Bursch and the Liberty Justice Center on behalf of Justin Hart, accuses Facebook and Twitter of disabling Hart’s accounts and removing his COVID-19 posts. The suit also names Twitter, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and President Joseph R. Biden as defendants. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Charles R Breyer, is 3:22-cv-00737, Hart v. Facebook, Inc. et al.
