President Joe Biden’s picks for district judgeships in California, New York and Colorado hit roadblocks Thursday when the Senate Judiciary Committee deadlocked over the nominations.

Vera for the Central District of California. It’s the second time that Sweeney and Vera failed to advance favorably out of the committee.
