Chegg, an education tech company, and certain officers and directors were hit with a shareholder derivative lawsuit Wednesday in California Northern District Court. The lawsuit, filed by The Brown Law Firm on behalf of Rak Joon Choi, contends that Chegg misled investors regarding the sustainability of subscription and revenue growth resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 5:22-cv-00217, Choi v. Chegg, Inc. et al.
