BioMarin Pharmaceutical sued a former QA engineer Wednesday in California Northern District Court over alleged theft of trade secrets. The lawsuit, filed by Reed Smith, accuses the defendant of misappropriating confidential information and unlawfully downloading more than 1,800 BioMarin files for a competitor. Lawyers have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 3:21-cv-08922, Biomarin Pharmaceutical Inc. v. Caraballo.
