A former Dentons partner’s lawsuit against the firm, which alleges he was fired after reporting that the firm attempted to divert client funds, has been stopped in arbitration in New York while a California court considers whether it should instead be litigated there, under California law.
Corporate attorney Jinshu “John” Zhang alleges he was fired after trying to stop firm leadership from pocketing tens of millions of dollars of client money, according to the suit.
