Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth has opened an office in Austin, hiring veteran intellectual property litigator Bill Parrish in an expansion that provides the California-founded firm’s IP practice with a location in the popular Western District of Texas.
“It’s the hottest district in the country for patent litigation,” said Parrish, who joined Stradling as of counsel on June 1. He has practiced in Austin for 30 years, most recently doing mediations at his own firm.
