Bankruptcy trustees have brought in outside counsel to pursue allegations that Tom Girardi’s estranged wife, Erika Jayne, who stars on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," might have received millions of dollars in fraudulent funds. Jayne has opposed one trustee's request to hire Beverly Hills attorney Ronald Richards, who is involved in a case against Girardi and has made 290 social media posts about her with “tabloid-style publicity” since Dec. 4.

Bankruptcy trustees have sought to bring in outside counsel to pursue allegations that Tom Girardi’s estranged wife, Erika Jayne, who stars on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” might have fraudulently received millions of dollars in funds.
The moves come after litigation funders, former clients and lawyers who referred cases to Girardi have added Jayne and her company, EJ Global, in their lawsuits against Girardi and his Los Angeles firm, Girardi Keese.
