To create a career path for a diverse group of in-house lawyers, Intel announced Wednesday that it will endow $5 million over the next five years to the North Carolina Central University School of Law, a historically Black institution. The endowment will create a technology law and policy center as well as an in-house summer associate program for law students.

“Last year, Intel declared that staying on the sidelines in the fight against inequality would not be an option,” Rhonda Foxx, Intel’s head of social equity policies and engagements in Washington, D.C., said. “We have spent the last year diving into that.”
