President Donald Trump on Tuesday issued pardons and other reprieves to 20 people, including a former associate at the law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom and a one-time campaign adviser who both pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI in the Russia investigation, in his latest move to unravel and discredit the investigation into the Kremlin’s interference in the 2016 election.

Trump issued a full pardon to Alexander van der Zwaan, who in 2018 was sentenced to 30 days in prison after pleading guilty to repeatedly lying to members of then-Special Counsel Robert Mueller III’s team in the Russia investigation.
