The onslaught of antitrust litigation against Google continued Thursday with a lawsuit brought by 38 attorneys general accusing the tech giant of using anti-competitive tactics to secure its search tool’s place as the “gateway to the internet.”

The lawsuit follows a complaint filed Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. In that case, Mark Lanier of The Lanier Firm is leading plaintiffs attorneys for Texas and nine other states suing Google for allegedly violating antitrust laws in the online display advertising market.
