As President Donald Trump considers granting pardons and commuting sentences in the final month of his administration, a large group of former judges and U.S. attorneys requested clemency for a woman they say received an unreasonably long sentence in Texas.

More than 130 former public officials, Big Law attorneys and law professors signed onto a clemency request for Daniela Gozes-Wagner. The list includes former U.S. district judges, former U.S. attorneys and current law professors from states like New York, Georgia, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Texas, California, Florida, Connecticut and Washington, D.C.
