Houston litigator Karl S. Stern and a group of his colleagues from Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan are behind the former general manager Jeff Luhnow’s litigation against the Houston Astros.
Stern, who signed and filed Luhnow’s petition on Monday, joined Quinn Emanuel in 2014 and he is now the managing partner of the firm’s Houston office. The other Quinn Emanuel trial lawyers on Luhnow’s team include Houston partner Christopher Porter and associate Carl Hennies, and San Francisco partner John Potter and associate Christine Chen.
