Attorneys for former Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein and the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office have agreed to delay Weinstein’s extradition proceedings until December, his attorney Norman Effman said during a hearing in Erie County Friday.

Weinstein was sentenced to 23 years in prison in March after a New York County jury found him guilty of first-degree criminal sexual act and third-degree rape. He has also been charged with forcible rape, forcible oral copulation, sexual penetration by use of force, sexual battery by restraint and sexual battery in Los Angeles County, where District Attorney Jackie Lacey filed a request for temporary custody on July 20.
