The U.S. Department of Justice is backing Oracle Corp. in its long-running copyright dispute with Google, which will be heard March 24 at the U.S. Supreme Court. The DOJ told the U.S. Supreme Court that computer code can be copyrighted under the Copyright Act in an amicus brief filed Wednesday.
