Gov. Gavin Newsom on Monday announced the appointment of four lawyers as superior court judges in California’s Central Valley—three in San Joaquin County and one in Fresno County.
In Fresno County, the governor appointed Samuel J. Dalesandro Jr., 43, who has served as a court commissioner at the superior court since 2017. Dalesandro previously served as a senior deputy district attorney in the Fresno County District Attorney’s Office from 2008 to 2017, and as an assistant DA in Santa Cruz County from 2006 to 2008.
