Munger, Tolles, & Olson has teamed up with civil rights groups to file a federal lawsuit attempting to prevent the Trump administration from deporting thousands of undocumented immigrants as part of a series of nationwide raids expected in the coming weeks.
The lawsuit, filed preemptively in New York by the American Civil Liberties Union, New York Civil Liberties Union and lawyers at Munger, argued the due process rights of those immigrants require that they be offered an immigration hearing prior to deportation.
