Britt Anderson joined Perkins Coie as a partner in the trademark, copyright, media and brand protection practice. Anderson has two decades of experience practicing intellectual property law and advises clients in the enforcement and defense of their trademark and intellectual property rights. Previously Anderson was a partner at K&L Gates. He will be based in Palo Alto.
David Bournazian joined Greenberg Traurig as a partner in the litigation, trial, real estate litigation, construction law, and retail law practice groups. He has served as general counsel for Frank Gehry and Gehry Partners. Most recently, he was a partner at Troutman Sanders. He will be based in Orange County.
Knobbe Martens will be honored by The Orange County Bar Association Charitable Fund at the annual “Raise Your Glass” benefit. The firm was selected as the 2018 Law Firm Honoree for the benefit. Also being honored are Children’s Hospital of Orange County, Chapman University Fowler School of Law, Bette Wylie Aitken Family Protection Clinic, Human Options, Laura’s House, and Women’s Transitional Living Center. Proceeds from the event will fund different law-related charities in Orange County.
Munger, Tolles & Olson brought on Kelly Kriebs as a partner in its corporate practice group. Kriebs has experience in advising private equity funds, companies and entrepreneurs through transactions. Previously, Kriebs was a partner at Sidley Austin. She will be based in the Los Angeles office.
Damali Taylor and Dion-Jay Brookter have been nominated to serve on the San Francisco Police Commission by Major London Breed in San Francisco. Taylor is a partner at O’Melveny & Myers and also served as a former federal prosecutor. Brookter is the deputy director of Young Community Developers and oversees initiatives that connect residents with jobs, training and resources.
