A San Jose developer of LED lighting solutions has won a $66 million trade secrets verdict in Santa Clara County Superior Court.
A jury ruled Friday that China-based Elec-Tech International, its CEO and one of its scientists misappropriated the “recipe” for creating a new generation of energy-efficient LED lighting. Jurors awarded plaintiff Lumileds $66 million.
