In an another judicial appointment spree, termed-out California Gov. Jerry Brown tapped six justices for the Court of Appeal and 12 to the state’s Superior Court Friday.

The new associate justice appointee for Division Four of the First District Court of Appeal is Alison Tucher, a former Morrison Foerster partner from Berkeley. Tucher has served as a judge at the Alameda County Superior Court since leaving MoFo in 2014. She and the five Southern California-based appointees are all Democrats.
