On Feb. 6, 2019, plaintiff Sandra Broccolo, 63, slipped and fell on loose gravel on a sidewalk in Philadelphia. She claimed that the portion of the sidewalk was part of the property owned by Temple University, and the portion allegedly had undergone patchwork by Pasquale Portolese Inc. Broccolo suffered an elbow fracture.

On July 5, 2017, plaintiff Brian Garnett, in his early 50s, was a passenger in a sedan driven by his wife, plaintiff Diane Garnett, 50. They were stopped on Street Road, at its intersection with Bustleton Pike Feasterville-Trevose. The rear of the car was subsequently struck by the front of a trailing sport utility vehicle driven by Matthew Bielucki. Brian Garnett claimed an Achilles tendon tear. Diane Garnett also claimed injuries.
