On July 17, 2019, plaintiff Shirley Coker, 84, was entering her apartment building at the Village Green Apartments, in Hatboro. Upon entering the doorway, she fell and struck her head against nearby steps and fractured her neck. Coker later died, allegedly from injuries suffered in the fall.
