Prior to joining Kang Haggerty, she was an associate at Weir & Partners in Philadelphia.
Kovalsky is a business lawyer who represents both corporate and individual clients in a broad range of complex commercial litigation matters.
She is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Kovalsky earned her law degree from the Washington University in St. Louis School of Law.

Markey practices in the firm’s Philadelphia office.
Markey focuses her practice on U.S. federal income tax—including pass-through entities, tax exempt organizations and tax controversy.
She also provides legal advice concerning the formation and restructuring of joint ventures, as well as like-kind exchanges of real property.
Blank Rome, Pepper Hamilton and Monique Myatt Galloway, former president of the Barristers’ Association of Philadelphia Inc., were recognized as “Access to Justice Champions” at the inaugural SeniorLAW Center and AARP Pennsylvania Pro Bono Awards, which was held on Nov. 29 at the Sheraton Philadelphia University City Hotel.

Montgomery McCracken Walker & Rhoads partner Michael J. Fekete served as a faculty member and panelist on the Rutgers Institute for Professional Education CLE program “Corporate Compliance and Ethics, E-Discovery and Social Media Trends” on Dec. 2.
The program’s morning session covered ethics with an overview of U.S. corporate compliance laws, ethical situations and hot topics when representing corporations and small businesses today.
The afternoon session covered e-discovery case law, challenges and compliance using fact-based scenarios.
The program ended with a discussion on emerging trends in social media.
Fekete is a partner of Montgomery McCracken’s litigation department.
