Kimberly Litzke received the 2017 Pennsylvania Bar Association Pro Bono Award at the Bucks County Bar Association.

The award was presented to her by David Keller Trevaskis, pro bono attorney for the Pennsylvania Bar Association.

She conducts CLE programs that teach other lawyers about the value of pro bono efforts.

Litzke is a shareholder, member of the management committee and chair of the firm family law practice group at Eastburn and Gray.

For nearly 25 years, she has represented clients in domestic relations related matters including divorce, custody, child and spousal support, protection from abuse, alimony and equitable distribution.

Elected and Appointed

David J. Truelove is set to serve on the Merit Selection Panel for the reappointment of Thomas J. Reuter as U.S. Magistrate Judge.

Truelove is a partner in the Yardley office of Hill Wallack and is chair of the firm’s employment and labor law practice group.

His areas of concentration include municipal and school law, labor law, employment matters and complex litigation.

Truelove is a labor lawyer who has represented municipalities, school districts and other public entities throughout Bucks County, Montgomery County and the surrounding region in a wide variety of collective bargaining matters, including contract negotiations, grievances, arbitrations, unfair labor practices and organizational matters.


Meyer, Unkovic & Scott added two new associates to the firm—Laura M. DeGeer and Alexandra G. Kania.

Both previously worked as summer associates for the firm.

DeGeer earned her J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and in 2015, DeGeer worked as a summer intern for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit under Senior Judge D. Michael Fisher.

Kania earned her J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.

Kania previously worked as an intern for multiple organizations including the office of general counsel at Saint Vincent College, Office of the Public Defender for the City of Pittsburgh and UPMC’s Corporate Law Department.


Asra Hashmi joined Post & Schell as an associate in the Workers’ Compensation Department in the firm’s Pittsburgh office.

She counsels employers, insurers and third-party administrators (TPAs) in workers’ compensation claims and defends them in associated proceedings throughout Pennsylvania.
