The Pennsylvania Supreme Court has taken the appeal of a woman who twice saw a $27.6 million verdict in her favor reversed over defense claims that her treating physician, who she agreed to delay suing, was not disclosed prior to trial as serving as an expert witness.

The Poletts had filed their suit, Polett v. Public Communications, after Margo Polett suffered a fractured right patella and a ruptured tendon in her right knee, both of which she claimed were the result of filming a promotional video for an artificial knee implant.
