As the saying goes, when it rains, it pours. Last month, one of my family members walked into the hospital with a minor ailment, but then spent a week in the Intensive Care Unit. Last week, my company experienced (and thankfully weathered) a denial of service attempt.
And as I write this, it’s a snowy winter Friday, and Captain Nemo seems to be bearing down on us. As far as the eye can see, it seems the world is full of pitfalls and hazards. Some we can anticipate, while others, like a hungry predator, lurk in the shadows.
