Pepper Hamilton has ended all official ties to former FBI director Louis Freeh with the spinoff of the law firm’s subsidiary, Freeh Group International Solutions.

Freeh, who joined Pepper Hamilton in 2012 and spent about two years as its chairman, left Pepper Hamilton in January to rejoin his old law firm, Freeh Sporkin & Sullivan. But Freeh’s risk management consulting company, Freeh Group International, had remained a wholly owned subsidiary of Pepper Hamilton despite Freeh’s departure. That changed as of March 31, the firm confirmed.
