An attorney who provided “wrong” advice to a client during settlement talks has been disqualified from representing that client in a fee dispute that has arisen between the company and the ­attorney’s former firm.

Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas Judge Patricia A. McInerney disqualified attorney Edward T. Kang and his firm Kang Haggerty & Fetbroyt from representing Meadows Investments as a defendant in a collection action Kang’s former firm brought against the company.
