Thomas J. Jennings, a partner in Hill Wallack’s Yardley, Pa., office, was appointed to the President’s Advisory Council at Delaware Valley College, an independent, interdisciplinary college in Doylestown, Pa.
The President’s Advisory Council is a select group of professionals from varied industries who provide insight and counsel to college President Joseph Brosnan on critical strategic issues facing the college.
Jennings represents national and local business entities in a wide range of commercial transactions, with a particular focus on facility development and operations.
He provides guidance in structuring agreements with the public sector and the formation of public-private partnerships.
The Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA) workers’ compensation law section is set to present its Irvin Stander Memorial Award to Harrisburg lawyer R. Burke McLemore Jr. on Sept. 11 during the section’s 30th annual fall meeting at the Hershey Lodge, Hershey, Pa.
McLemore is a partner and chair of the workers’ compensation section at Thomas, Thomas & Hafer in Harrisburg.
He is the current chair of the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.
McLemore is also chair of the PBA worker’s compensation law section’s Pennsylvania workers’ compensation centennial committee, which is promoting awareness of the 100th anniversary of the Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Act in 2015.
Nathan Murawsky joined Hamburg, Rubin, Mullin, Maxwell & Lupin’s personal injury department.
Murawsky’s 20-plus year legal career has been spent representing injured persons in personal injury matters and obtaining settlements and verdicts on their behalf.
His experience includes cases involving auto accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice, professional negligence, liquor liability, defective products and civil rights violations cases.
Murawsky has tried dozens of cases to verdict in courts throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Timothy E. Gilsbach joined King Spry Herman Freund & Faul as an associate.
He concentrates his practice in the areas of litigation and special education law.
He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and before several state and federal courts.
