Frank Breitman of Silvers, Langsam & Weitzman was appointed to the national task force of Ultimate Hike, a long-distance hiking program designed to raise money for CureSearch for Children’s Cancer.
CureSearch is a national nonprofit organization that funds and supports targeted and innovative children’s cancer research with measurable results.
Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel partner Michael E. Bertin presented at the Family Law Society of Drexel University Earle Mack School of Law on the practice of family law.
Bertin is immediate past chair of the family law section of the Philadelphia Bar Association and a frequent author and lecturer on family law topics.
Bertin also co-wrote the book on Pennsylvania child custody law, “Pennsylvania Child Custody Law, Practice, and Procedure.”
The Homeless Advocacy Project is scheduled to host its annual benefit event from 5:30 to 8 p.m. April 3 at the Sofitel in Philadelphia.
The event will feature cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, along with a silent and live auction.
All proceeds received that evening will support HAP’s mission to provide free civil legal services to Philadelphia’s homeless and shelter population.
