The Bucks County Bar Association presented its annual President’s Award to Curtin & Heefner associate John J. Hart.
Hart has served on the bar association’s board of directors for four years and has taken a lead in addressing the association’s insurance-related concerns.
He has also been a leader in CLE efforts and has taught classes on a variety of civil litigation issues.
Benjamin F. Hantz and Sean R. Keegan joined Babst Calland as associates.
Hantz joined the business services group.
Hantz’s practice focuses primarily on representing clients in commercial real estate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions, and general corporate matters.
Keegan joined the litigation services group.
Keegan focuses his practice on general civil litigation.
Meyer Simon joined Rubin, Glickman, Steinberg and Gifford.
Simon has an active practice representing local, regional and national business clients, including manufacturers, service businesses, hotel and construction businesses, professional practices, and financial institutions.
Elected and Appointed
Cecilia R. Dickson advanced to a shareholder position at The Webb Law Firm.
Dickson is an intellectual property attorney with a focus on intellectual property litigation relating to patent, trademark, copyright and other intellectual property issues.
She has been appointed by the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania as an e-discovery special master.
Craig Robert Lewis was named a partner of Kaplin Stewart Meloff Reiter & Stein.
Lewis concentrates his practice in the areas of land use, land development and zoning of both commercial and residential real estate.
His practice involves representation of a wide array of clients, including developers, homebuilders, homeowners, landowners and educational institutions throughout various regions in Pennsylvania.
The Pennsylvania Bar Association named Trent Hargrove of Harrisburg, Pa., as its diversity officer.
Hargrove will be responsible for overseeing and facilitating the PBA’s efforts to improve diversity within the association and Pennsylvania’s legal profession.
Shaun J. Mumford and Julie E. Ravis were named shareholders of Stevens & Lee, effective Jan. 1.
Mumford concentrates his practice in health care litigation matters, including the defense of professional negligence claims.
Ravis concentrates her practice in complex commercial litigation with a particular focus on litigation involving financial products and services.
