Ethan O’Shea, a partner with Hamburg, Rubin, Mullin, Maxwell & Lupin, spoke on the topic of “Perils of Independent Contractor Misclassifications, Employment Background Checks, and Workplace Investigations” at a Montgomery Bar Association CLE.
O’Shea has been a member of the firm’s litigation department for 12 years.
His practice focuses on commercial litigation, employment law and criminal law.
O’Shea was previously a senior deputy district attorney with the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office.

Rochelle D. Quiggle, an associate in the Allentown law office of Krasno, Krasno & Onwudinjo, was named bylaws chairwoman for the Pennsylvania Federation, Business and Professional Women of Pennsylvania, for 2013-14.
Quiggle handles all aspects of workers’ compensation for injured workers in Allentown and Easton, Pa.
Tracy U. Palovich, a registered patent practitioner with Howson & Howson, was selected as a fellow/mentor in the 2013-14 NeXXt Scholars Program, instituted by the New York Academy of Sciences and the U.S. Department of State.
The NeXXt Scholars Program is part of the International Women’s Undergraduate STEM Education Initiative.
As a mentor, she will utilize her expertise and knowledge in guiding young women from countries with predominantly Muslim populations and young American women to pursue undergraduate degrees in science, technology, engineering and mathematics fields.
Dawn Getty Sutphin was nominated to the class of 2014 of the Anne B. Anstine Excellence in Public Service Series, an annual professional leadership program.
The Anstine series provides Republican women representing all regions of Pennsylvania with the background, skill set and network to assume decision-making positions at all levels of government, in the community and in the party structure.
