Alan R. Gedrich, a partner with Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young, served as a panelist during the 14th annual Sub-Advised Funds Forum presented by Financial Research Associates on October 1-3 in Philadelphia.
Gedrich served on the panel, “Due Diligence From a Compliance Perspective: What Should Funds Be Looking for and What Should Sub-Advisors Be Attentive to.” He also assumed the role as chairman of the Sub-Advised Funds Compliance Workshop as part of the FRA Conference on October 1.
James A. Rocco III, founding partner of Rocco Law Offices, was the course planner and featured speaker for a seminar “Paternity Cases: Is the Standard for Paternity in Pennsylvania Changing?” in Mechanicsburg, Pa., sponsored by the Pennsylvania Bar Institute.
Rocco was also a featured speaker at the Philadelphia Bar Association‘s Bench-Bar and Annual Conference during the “Crossing the Legal Custody Line” program hosted at Revel Resort in Atlantic City, N.J.
Eric Fitzgerald, an attorney with Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin, graduated from the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance‘s Litigation Management Institute.
The LMI was hosted by Columbia Law School on October 5–7 in New York. Graduates of the LMI received the Certified Litigation Management Professional certification.
Paul Lancaster Adams, managing shareholder of the Philadelphia office of Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, authored a chapter of the book Inside the Minds: The Impact of Recent Regulatory Developments in Employment Law.

Henry Yampolsky, a senior associate at Galfand Berger, joined the board of the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society.
Yampolsky was also recently elected to the amicus curiae committee of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice.
