Nicholas C. Harbist, a partner with Blank Rome, presented at the Seton Hall University School of Law‘s Health Care Compliance Certification Program on the topic, “Lyin’, Cheatin’, Stealin’? The Perils of Dealing With Whistleblowers Under the False Claims Act.”
The program on October 9 focused on the interaction between the whistleblower provisions of the False Claims Act and Sarbanes-Oxley Act with the federal and state criminal laws, and addressed how companies can protect their interests in the face of whistleblower claims.
