When former Philadelphia Housing Authority Chairman John F. Street said on a local news program that former PHA Executive Director Carl Greene “‘lied about everything,’” Street did not defame Greene, a Philadelphia judge said earlier this month.
Philadelphia Common Pleas Court Judge Allan L. Tereshko, writing in an opinion setting out his reasons for dismissing Greene’s complaint, said that Greene failed to show that Street had committed the torts of defamation and false-light invasion of privacy against Greene.
