In an appeal involving challenges to verdict slip details and jury deliberations, the Pennsylvania Superior Court sided against a widow, affirming a lower court’s judgment in favor of the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

On appeal Lesley Corey, serving  as administratrix of the estate of her late husband Joseph Corey, and in her own right, argued against the trial court’s decision to substitute the Pennsylvania Physician Services LLC (PPS) and nurse Laura Bond’s names on the verdict slip, replacing them with the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
